About Romanian Professional Society of Philadelphia

The Romanian Professional Society of Philadelphia is a non-profit organization striving to promote and encourage the advancement of education, stewardship and fellowship among Romanian-Americans and their communities in the Philadelphia area.

To fulfill its missions, RPSP will organize and popularize social networking events to attract Romanian-Americans and others in the greater Philadelphia region who have an interest in celebrating the Romanian culture, networking and giving back.

The Society aims to create a stimulating and safe venue for:

1. Professional interaction among members and potential members
2. Promoting social fraternity and exchanging of ideas
3. Organizing social and educational activities (lectures, excursions, cultural events, concerts, and dances)
4. Providing scholarships to future undergraduate students of Romanian descent
5. Honoring and recognizing Romanian-American individuals’ high achievements
6. Preserving and promoting the Romanian heritage
